Our Beginnings:
Since 1981, James Child Care Inc. has been providing child care for families in Winnipeg's Fort Garry area. Originally a school aged program located at 1226 Waller Avenue, we have expanded to include a preschool location at 3 Marshall Crescent, to meet the needs of our growing community. Our centres are play based as we believe a child's work is play, and learning social skills are building blocks for success! Our centre believes in a diverse and inclusive program as it encourages both staff and children to grow, learn and create every day.
BUILDING THE FUTURE WITH J.C.C.
Our preschool location offers care for 32 children between 2 - 5 years of age. Pending space at the school aged location and the school your child is registered, any enrolled child kindergarten age will graduate to our school aged site.
Our School Aged location provides care for 40 children attending: Ralph Maybank, Ecole Crane and Viscount Alexander Elementary Schools.
Currently both our Preschool and School Aged locations are fully enrolled with a lengthy waitlist. Please fill in the application and email to joanna@jameschildcare.com , where families will be contacted as soon as space becomes available.

fundraising & support
James Child Care Inc. is a funded facility and as our fees are regulated by the Province of Manitoba this results in a limited revenue stream. We therefore welcome the additional support of parents and community members through donations and our fundraising initiatives.
Direct donations are happily accepted via cash, cheque or e-transfer: jamescc@mymts.net
Tax receipts will be issued for donations made directly to the centre.
We appreciate donations of gently used clothes, toys, books, art supplies, etc. From time to time staff may post notices inside our centres asking for specific items (eg. plastic bottles).
